Bruno Bosilo started as a freelancer shortly after leaving school and seven years later created his company B2 Studio (reports, communication, and publishing).
Creating images, using various processes, is his primary motivation, while prioritizing emotion and humanity… This allows him to travel, meet people, and experience intense moments.
Bruno, who expresses himself in different genres, does not want to be pigeonholed into a specific image style: “All subjects interest me, I am curious but never voyeuristic, photography opens doors for me.” In his work, the more difficult the shooting conditions, the more they interest him: “being reactive and creative, anticipating action, being in the right place at the right time, as discreetly as possible, becoming invisible and blending into the background.” He appreciates shooting in the style of “Streptease” reports without ever intervening because “that’s where you capture the truest emotions.” He rarely creates staged scenes, unless they are necessary for the subject being treated.
He uses his long experience in advertising as an art director to work on dynamic imagery. He doesn’t embellish things and tries never to place people in the frame. “I let the action unfold to maintain maximum authenticity in the image, I rarely use posed photos, I work with ambient light and rarely with flash.”
His perfect knowledge of the graphic industry for many years allows him to produce work that is directly usable in all areas of communication, press, or publishing. He practices several complementary professions for greater artistic freedom: creative designer, photographer, video director (shooting and editing).
