Bruce Rankine

A full stack software engineer with extensive experience in building successful new products for startups and existing companies, with a background in driving projects throughout their lifecycle.

I have my own successful apps on the Google and Apple app stores, apps using combinations of good GUI design, well-designed signal processing and logic, and cloud connectivity and services.

I ran my own limited company in the UK, providing software consultancy services, for over 7 years. I have recently moved to live and work in France, and so have set up and own a French SARL through which I operate.

I am adept at working across a wide range, with a focus on delivering functional software that meets the end customer's needs.

I am capable of working on any area of an application-related project (front-end, underlying logic, cloud/server side in Kotlin, Swift, Java, C++ and all associated standard cloud APIs).

With a lot of experience in various different technologies and methodologies, I am always happy to work in new or different areas, and I am adept at learning and integrating quickly into a new product and existing workflow and I can work on most types of existing or legacy products.

Having worked in Nantes for a French company for a few years, I am able to communicate in French, although I would describe my spoken skills as basic. For complicated subjects, it may be clearer for me to communicate in writing.
