Passionate developer, I have always worked in the web domain. It was through the web that I entered the world of IT and I have never really strayed from it.

I primarily work in the Java world; it's a language I particularly appreciate and which is present to satisfy the challenges of the modern web.

I dedicate part of my free time to technological watch, but also to practicing and trying out technologies, practices, or other methodologies. I regularly attend developer conferences, whether they are about technology or agile. I maintain a blog (fierdecoder.fr) where I share my thoughts, experiences, or sometimes rants about software development. I fully adhere to the values of Software Craftsmanship. In search of the satisfaction of a job well done, I am particularly attached to software quality, whether at the code level (clean code), tests, software architecture, or deployment.

In parallel with my studies, I actively contributed to the launch and development of an open-source CMS written in PHP: PHPBoost. The goal of this project is to provide a simple and effective tool for people with very little IT knowledge to create a website. I dedicated part of my free time to this project for 6 years, I stopped in 2012 because it became very difficult to reconcile this project with my professional activity. My role in the project did not stop at product development. I also participated in user support, community life, gathering requirements to define a roadmap, and coordinating the different project teams. These 6 years spent on this project were very enriching for me, both humanly and technically.
