Benoit Campo

I work independently as a space illustrator and industrial designer. This represents the largest part of my professional activity today.

However, I have a more complex background, starting with manual cabinetmaking training, followed by a fine arts course at the Beaux-Arts.

After a few years in workshops and on construction sites, a work accident led me to switch from manual to digital: from design office drawing for fitting out; while continuing personal artistic research. Aware of the dichotomy of my activities, I resumed architectural studies, a profession on the edge between technique and creation.

The practices of visual representation and technical design share the same digital tools, but they have different flavors. The subjective nature of the image and the reality of manufacturing.
