With over twenty-five years of development experience, I have held various technical positions, from junior developer to architect, always maintaining a development activity to stay in touch with "concrete" deliverables.

The evolution of methodologies (none, then waterfall, then agile), technology changes (C++, C#, Java) and environment (Windows, then Web), etc... invite to always learn something new, which is a strong source of motivation. I have carried out most of my assignments at a French manufacturer in the field of electricity, which gave me the chance to discover a field that was quite distant from me.

My main asset is my mastery of programming and object design, combined with a strong desire to understand and meet the needs of users. This constant interest in the profession of my clients and their users seems essential to me to choose and implement technical solutions that are truly adapted.

Oceanographic data visualization application

Tech lead of a team in charge of developing an Angular application for the visualization of data collected by another tool.

The data concerned are photos, videos but also numerical values (e.g. temperature, salinity, ...) from multiple sensors used during oceanographic campaigns.

The application is made available to scientists as a research and visualization tool during a campaign (deployed on a server embedded on the ship), but also as a standalone viewer once the campaign is over (tool provided with the data, executed locally).

The application consists of a Java Spring Boot backend based on PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch databases, and an Angular frontend. The frontend integrates components such as dygraph (curves) and OpenLayers (mapping).
