Benjamin Mercui

Photographer since adolescence, I turned it into a part-time activity after training at the Gobelins school, reinforcing a decade of regular practice. This training brought me the professional label of Gobelins and as many new skills to serve my clients.

My preferred areas are reportage and portraiture, but I have also had the opportunity to work on events, packshots (objects, reproduction of paintings), etc. I retouch my photos myself to have complete control over the production chain according to my clients' needs and to be able to make proposals before, during, and after the shoot.

I am open to different photographic universes, and I take the time to discuss before committing to projects to ensure I am the right person to carry them out. So, do not hesitate to contact me to meet and share your ideas.

For three years now, I have added the operator skill to my repertoire. Starting "on the job" during shoots where I was an assistant director, I put my photographic eye at the service of video teams and naturally moved behind the camera. I returned to Gobelins to obtain the same professional certification (this time for video). With this learning, I was able to participate in the cinematography of two feature documentaries, several short films, and reports. Since 2024, I have directed 3 52-minute films and several corporate films.
