Description

Global designer trained at the University of Nîmes, ESAAB of Nevers, and ENSAD of Nancy, Benjamin Genet develops a cross-disciplinary practice where different design disciplines interact to construct projects conceived as a whole. His work is distinguished by an attention to environments, uses, and the narratives that objects can reveal.

Interested in discrepancies, unexpected angles of attack, and forms of curation integrated into the design process, he notably explores the sensitive perception of time and what the wear and tear of objects says about our ways of inhabiting and interacting. Through workshops, installations, and collaborative devices, he questions the social and material dimension of spaces, preferring an open and experimental approach rather than a single specialization.
