With rooem (formerly KWERQUS), we have developed into one of the market leaders in Germany for industrial-style furniture. Manufactured in Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria, and Romania, we have combined solid wood with black iron pipes to create unique furniture. Over 17,000 customers have bought shelves, clothes racks, or sideboards from us under my leadership.

In addition to the "general management roles," I primarily focused on building the shop, operations, logistics, and processes.

This is where my passion for dashboards originated, also out of necessity to be informed about everything in the shortest possible time. As a founder, you also get to know almost all areas very intensively. Purchasing, HR, production, marketing, customer service, finance, etc... Not everything was my favorite, but I can make qualified statements in every area.

In 2008, I took over the wine trade from my sister (I was 16 at the time). It sold about 120 bottles per month and was mainly intended for neighbors and as a small job for my sister.

After initial hesitation, I took over the business and opened the first online shop (Telekom Shop). After some time, I discovered STRATO Shops and moved the shop there.

In 2013, I sold the shop at a time when the business sold about 3500 bottles per month. I was 21 at the time and had no employees, except for my second sister who regularly helped out.

The reason for the sale was a law degree (which turned out not to be my passion, but I'm glad I tried it. Even though I missed the wine trade for a long time).

During these almost 5 years, I learned a lot about e-commerce, purchasing, pricing, marketing, customer service, and logistics.
