About Benedetta

I can help pharmaceutical companies, CRAs and Global Health organisations turning complex clinical and regulatory challenges into clear, reliable and actionable solutions.

With a Master’s in Clinical Research, six years as a community pharmacist and hands-on humanitarian experience in Angola, India and Nepal, I bring a unique combination of scientific rigour, real-world patient insight and practical field knowledge.

What makes me stand out is my ability to connect clinical theory with real-life impact: I have worked directly with patients, managed therapeutic adherence in resource-limited settings, supported migrant health operations in Italy, and dealt with neglected tropical diseases and antimicrobial resistance on the ground.

I'm specialised in:
- Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety support
- Clinical trial coordination and data management assistance
- Regulatory affairs documentation
- Medical writing and scientific translation (Italian, English)
- Global Health and Humanitarian Aid projects support
- Pharmacovigilance

- Medicine Management & Supply Chain Management
- Training & Capacity Building
- Desk Review
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

Whether you need help with pharmacovigilance tasks,
clinical operations, regulatory submissions, or building sustainable health projects in emerging markets, I deliver precise, thoughtful and dedicated work.

I am based in Italy but fully available for remote collaboration worldwide.

My competitive triathlete path taught me discipline, resilience and the ability to deliver consistently under pressure. I’m here to learn, grow and contribute meaningfully to projects that make a difference.

Let's meet and discuss straight away about how I can support your next project.

Stock Management System – Chiulo Hospital
    DIGITAL AND IT
    October 2025 - December 2025 (2 months)
    Luanda, Angola
I participated to the implementation of a stock management system for the pharmacy of Chiulo Mission Hospital (CUAMM – Medici con l’Africa) in a remote rural area of Angola.

    Scope of the project:
    - Redesign the physical pharmacy layout for better efficiency
    - Introduction of a simplified tracking process for drug inflows and outflows
    - Development and deployment a user-friendly digital tool to monitor stock levels, reduce shortages, and generate reports

Results: significantly reduced inventory errors, improved availability of essential medicines, and eased the daily workload for local staff in a low-resource setting.

This project combined process optimisation, practical digital solutions, and on-site training in a challenging humanitarian context.

    AI-Assisted Malaria Microscopy System
    DIGITAL AND IT
    October 2025 - December 2025 (2 months)
    Luanda, Angola
During a humanitarian mission in Angola, I collaborated to the second on-field testing phase of this project. I was interfacing with the laboratorists, the on-site engineering team, and the project owner, a remote ML engineer.
My role was to challenge the medical scientific models, studies, results and real operational use.

This project, a low-cost digital system to support microscopic diagnostics in low-resource settings, was born in 2023, encompassing the design, the implementation and the field-testing.

In essence, this offline, low-cost, malaria AI-aided diagnostic system for rural application project combines simple, affordable hardware with digital tools to improve workflow efficiency, reduce operator eye strain, and increase the number of patients that can be examined daily.

The goal is to develop a practical solution that can support diagnosticians in high-workload and resource-limited environments, while contributing to the broader field of Global Health.

Benedetta's contributions helped structure a realistic roadmap for our project, including the identification of relevant stakeholders, funding opportunities, and operational pathways. Having previously collaborated with her in a humanitarian and research context, we already knew her ability to quickly grasp complex situations. Once again, she demonstrated excellent analytical skills, strong autonomy, and a remarkable capacity to connect scientific, operational, and strategic perspectives. I would gladly recommend Benedetta to any organisation seeking a highly capable consultant at the intersection of healthcare, innovation, and research.
