Production of the documentary film "Ohana" with Sam Laidlow, Ironman World Champion 2023. Filming and following Sam during his last month of preparation in Hawaii before the World Championships.

Kona. This name alone evokes excellence, pushing limits, and the most legendary event in world triathlon.

Through this assignment, I had the opportunity to follow the athlete throughout the Ironman World Championships, in the heart of Kona's unique intensity. My goal was to capture more than just a race: to tell a human story of preparation, pressure, emotions, and resilience.

From the first moments before the start to the most challenging parts of the competition, I documented the behind-the-scenes of this extraordinary adventure, the training sessions, the exchanges with the team, the moments of doubt, but also the determination required to defend a world title in the most demanding triathlon arena.

Through this documentary, I wanted to convey the unique atmosphere of Kona and the energy surrounding these World Championships, highlighting the athlete's journey, but also the importance of 'Ohana', the family that supports every step of the journey.
