At Curio, I worked as an external examiner. For a period of 4 months, I weekly examined and motivated a group of approximately 14 final-year students from the Curio Media & Design program. The examination took place according to a protocol provided by Curio. I fulfilled this role together with another external examiner and a lecturer from the program. It was particularly valuable and educational to, as a professional and well-coordinated team, examine these students during the final phase of their education. As an examination team, while respecting the protocol, we tried to guide each candidate as specifically and customized as possible to achieve the best possible final result for their final exam. After all, a student doesn't benefit from 'criticism'; the art is to deliver it constructively, thereby stimulating the student to achieve their best!

As a permanent visual communication partner and art director, I was responsible for the entire visual identity and external communication of Wuzzi Alert. In this role, I functioned as an substantive and strategic extension of the organization, with ownership over vision, consistency, and quality across all media and channels.

I designed and monitored the visual line of websites, apps, and customer portals, brand identity and house style, logos and iconography, packaging, user manuals, forms, helpdesk manuals, brochures, flyers, signage, and other communication materials.I worked at the intersection of design, functionality, and user experience (UI/UX), with an eye for both brand experience and practical applicability.

In addition to design, I provided substantive guidance to external specialists and team members, including (front-end) developers, content creators, and other operational partners. I ensured clear frameworks, substantive direction, and alignment between design, technology, and communication. I also coordinated photoshoots, including briefing, casting, and image selection.

My role required seniority, overview, and responsibility: thinking ahead, structuring, making choices, and ensuring that everything that goes out is correct—visually, substantively, and strategically. I was involved in complex projects, further development of platforms, and translating abstract ideas into clear, consistent communication that works for end-users and the organization.
