As part of the modernization of the Paris-Lyon high-speed line, SNCF Réseau has partnered with HITACHI Rail to increase the number of hourly train paths from 12 to 16 by 2024. This evolution involves upgrading the current signaling system to an ERTMS Level 2 signaling system, equivalent to those implemented on the Sud Est Atlantique and Bretagne Pays de Loire lines. As part of this contract, HITACHI Rail was entrusted with tasks including preliminary studies, execution diagrams, configuration, verification, and platform testing.

• Activity 1: Verification of signaling studies for the upgrade of the LGV+ Paris-Lyon line.

• Activity 2: Verification of configurations (logical input/output equation setup) for route formation.

• Activity 3: Testing & Simulation of various signaling functions related to traffic routes

- Drafting and development of test cases,

- Drafting of test procedures,

- Verification of test procedures.

• Activity 4: Reading technical documentation (signaling directives, SNCF principles, signaling diagrams) to verify the accuracy of information.

Railway Standards (TVM300/TVM430):

SNCF Principles, technical plans, execution documents.

1- Define a qualification strategy related to EVC version V9.3A.

2- Write a test catalog specific to the KVB STM interface connected via profibus to the EVC.

3- Run scenarios on the simulator.

4- Complete automation of implemented scenarios.

5- Analyze the obtained results.

6- Report non-conformities on POLARION according to requirements derived from the KVB STM system specification documents, the SNCF specifications, and European standards (subset).

7- Document reviews and project management assistance.
