Sapiens is today, in my personal opinion, one of the most beautiful achievements I have had. I was able to support the Sapiens team in the development of their Shopify store, which was customized down to the smallest detail.

The theme used is the "flux" theme from outofthesandbox, many HTML and CSS modifications were made, each collection and product page is unique and has a specific template.

The Sapiens team provided me with a very complete wireframe of 25 pages which allowed me to follow a complete plan for the development of the online store.

The development was quite long and tedious compared to what I am usually asked for, but it was a great experience.

Creation of the Shopify store, installation, theme configuration, and specific page development.

Addition of beard / shaving / kit collections and development of templates for each collection.

Creation of a specific template for products and product kits.

Development using Liquid (Shopify programming language) for various blog systems:

- Displaying a specific tutorial tag to indicate its category

- Creation of a dynamic filter using jQuery to display only the selected tutorial categories

Soflachy (formerly vente-flash.re) is a private sales site on Shopify. Initially built by the co-founder, the site was complicated to manage as everything was done manually.

The Soflashy project was a highly advanced request for Shopify development: create a complete private sales system that would manage all sale openings and closings automatically.

No application or similar system exists on Shopify, so it had to be conceived and developed from scratch.

First, I implemented the Turbo theme and created a design that perfectly matched the client's expectations, following the main reference site (veepee). The theme was extensively customized.

Once the design was well in place, I focused on developing the private sales system.

1. Backend.

- Shopify allows injecting additional data (metafields) into collections, products, pages, etc. I installed an app that allows me to add metafields.

- Collections are considered private sales, and we inject metafields.

- Creation of metafields in collections: start date, end date, etc. We added other types of metafields that enable additional features (reservations with deposits, etc.).

2. Frontend

Now that the metafields are installed, I created new Shopify sections that display the collection list based on what we want to show: either current sales, upcoming sales, or both.

I block access to sales that are not open to everyone except administrators.

Once this is done, the overall system is ready. Each sale is in its place, ongoing sales disappear, and products become inaccessible when they are finished. Upcoming sales automatically move to ongoing sales, and product access is unlocked as soon as the opening date begins.

I also managed the installation of the Caisse d'Epargne payment module (Systempay) for online payments.
