About Axel

Do you have an MVP to launch or a SaaS to scale? As a web developer for over 15 years, I turn your next objective into a usable, tested, and maintainable version, using Svelte/SvelteKit and AI when it brings a real benefit.

We clarify the expected outcome, the priority path, and the definition of 'done.' I deliver the code, critical tests, useful documentation, and production deployment if access allows. At the end of the milestone, you can continue, change priorities, or stop.

I work on a daily rate when priorities change, or in two-week sprints when an MVP or feature can be clearly scoped. To protect deadlines and quality, I limit the number of concurrent projects and scope each sprint. Everything is done remotely.

I can also integrate AI when it truly serves the product: business assistant, audio→text transcription, structured extraction, or automation with human validation.

My foundation: Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Drizzle or Prisma, Better Auth, and Zod. I can also work with existing Ruby on Rails or Symfony projects.

I primarily use ChatGPT/Codex to explore, implement, test, and document. AI accelerates execution; the choices, tests, and code responsibility remain mine.

Some proof:
• 53 Malt projects, 4.5/5 on 31 reviews and 14 recommendations;
• ThePackengers: over 5 years on a growing product with Rails, Svelte, and SvelteKit;
• Onepark: data from over 59,000 European parking spots processed in production;
• CCMSA: documentary business application in SvelteKit;
• Gluci: iOS app for diabetics, designed and published solo.

Send me your situation, the expected outcome, and the deadline: I will frankly tell you if the daily rate or sprint is the right framework.

Experience

  • Gluci
    iOS & AI Developer — Health MVP for Diabetics
    HEALTH AND WELLNESS
    July 2026 - Today (1 month)
    Paris, France
    I designed and published Gluci alone, an iOS app beneficial for diabetics. From idea to App Store deployment, I handled scoping, design, SwiftUI/iOS development, and SvelteKit web services. The tech stack combines PostgreSQL, Drizzle, and Zod, hosted in France via OVH. Mistral is used in the AI stack.

    This project demonstrates my ability to lead an MVP from start to finish: clarifying needs, building a coherent mobile experience, connecting the app to its services, and handling publication. I used ChatGPT/Codex to explore options, implement, test, and document. These tools accelerate product development, but architectural choices, verification, and responsibility for the code remain mine. Gluci thus brings together iOS development, SvelteKit, AI integration, and deployment into a concrete product, created autonomously.

    Generative AI Training — Coaching 10 Developers
    SOFTWARE PUBLISHING
    April 2026 - April 2026
    Objective: Prepare a team of 10 developers to master Claude Code with a common framework. I designed and led a training session for ITS INTEGRA covering tool discovery, best practices, and use cases within a development workflow. The intervention focused on upskilling a technical team: understanding what generative AI can accelerate, maintaining human validation, and adopting reproducible practices.

  • ThePackengers
    SvelteKit & Ruby on Rails Developer — B2B Platform
    IMPORT AND EXPORT
    January 2020 - July 2025 (5 years and 6 months)
    Paris, France
    For five and a half years, I supported ThePackengers, a B2B platform for packaging and transporting fragile items and artwork, throughout its growth. In a team that grew from about 3 to 15 people, I developed new features and modernized interfaces based on Figma mockups, with a constant goal: accelerating the roadmap without compromising the product's stability. The core was Ruby on Rails, Stimulus, and Turbo; I introduced Svelte and SvelteKit in certain areas, migrated the environment to Vite, replaced Bootstrap with Tailwind, and established an initial design system with Shadcn. I also built a Rails/Tailwind form-builder. My full-stack developer role covered specifications, code reviews, testing and QA, CI/CD, and onboarding new developers. I also mentored the front-end team through training and onboarding on Svelte 5. This long-term engagement illustrates my ability to evolve an existing B2B platform, structure its front-end architecture, and maintain quality over time.

Axel met all my expectations. He was proactive and provided excellent advice. He mastered the technical aspects and technologies required by the project. If not, he researched and incorporated all the specifications. The project proceeded on time with some well-suggested extras. Eric
