As part of their digital communication for the summer season, Loeul et Piriot organized a large contest. I was contacted by an agency to produce the shots and voice-over for a video. Filming and recording took place on Thursday morning, finalized in the afternoon. The deadline was tight to communicate as quickly as possible.

The Backyard is one of the most demanding ultramarathon events: every hour, competitors must complete a 6.706 km loop until only one remains. No clock, no traditional podium. Just endurance, willpower, and the last one standing.

For this first edition in Sillé-le-Guillaume, I joined a 5-person film crew present from Saturday 8 AM to Sunday 4 PM. My mission: to capture the human element at the heart of the event. Runner interviews, cutaway shots, moments of doubt, effort, and support, day and night, the goal was to tell a story, not just film a race.

As a video journalist and field reporter, I focused on emotions: the glances between laps, the loved ones who tirelessly support, the bodies still holding on while the night is well advanced. This type of immersive event filming requires as much reactivity as sensitivity, knowing when to approach, when to let the camera speak.

A project that clearly illustrates my way of working: camera operator, interviewer, and storyteller in complete autonomy, over time, whatever the context.

As part of a short format broadcast on France Télévision, France 2 and France 3. The audiovisual production company "La petite production" contacted me to present a short format with the union "UNSA" in the form of a fake weather report.

The goal of this video is to talk about the heatwave (very relevant at the moment). A script was written beforehand, and in just one hour of filming, the video was shot in a live setting, ready to be edited.
