👋 My name is Aurélien, your (future) favorite collaborator!
I've been a developer in the Shopify ecosystem for almost 9 years.
I started by customizing themes, then coding them, before diving into app development. And that's where I found what I truly enjoyed: creating custom, robust, and high-performing solutions.
Today, I mainly focus on custom Shopify app development (and also some public apps).
My goal: to design solutions that integrate perfectly with your business. To achieve this, I continuously train myself to optimize every aspect of my work and deliver increasingly effective apps in the shortest possible time.
I also have significant experience with Shopify payment apps and APIs, particularly from my collaboration with Lydia Solutions for their official Shopify payment app. A collaboration with the payment provider GoCardless is also ongoing.
In parallel, I do some consulting and lead workshops. For a year, I had the opportunity to work with the Shopify France team to conduct tech onboarding workshops for agencies like DnD, Razorfish, Numendo, etc.

In general: Node.js + TypeScript (with Effect for those in the know)
For custom apps:
I mainly use Gadget.dev. A platform-framework based on Fastify, with a PostgreSQL database (wrapped with a GraphQL API), background workers & queues based on Temporal, and other built-in tools.
I'm quite fond of everything related to FP; CQRS (lite); event-driven architecture; DDD; and TDD.
