I've spent the last 20 years living inside the data layer of large organisations, mostly in SAP, mostly in master data, and mostly in situations where the data was messier than anyone was willing to admit.

My core work is Master Data Governance. I help companies define what "good data" actually means for their business, build the governance structures to maintain it, and configure the platforms that enforce it day to day. I've done this across two long engagements — seven years at Linde Gas across EMEA and APAC, and two years at Olympus Medical where I handled the full Collibra catalog build, an S/4HANA migration and Data Quality Rules in SAP Information Steward. Both involved working across multiple cultures, multiple stakeholders, and the kind of legacy data that keeps architects up at night.

What I bring that's less common: I can talk to a data architect in the morning, walk a business owner through a governance policy in the afternoon, and configure the BRF+ workflow in the evening. I don't need a translator between the technical and the business side. I am that guy. I've also worked in enough cultures (Germany, the US, Japan, India, Australia, Romania) to know how differently teams approach data ownership, and how to adapt.

I'm tool agnostic. I will adapt to your toolstack in short time. I'm also integrating AI into my delivery work. I use Claude Code and custom agents for documentation, analysis, and automation in ways most consultants haven't caught up to yet.

I take on remote B2B engagements. I work best in transformation programmes where the data foundation actually matters to the outcome: migrations, regulatory compliance projects, or post-merger harmonisation where nobody can agree on what a "customer" or a "material" is.
