At Oodles Technologies, I worked as a Backend Developer contributing to multiple production-grade systems, including Urbaneye (enterprise job planning and workforce management platform), AbeyO (event discovery and ticketing platform), and Papaya (health appointment scheduling system).

I was responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, building RESTful APIs to support core workflows such as scheduling, ticket management, authentication/authorization, and high-volume data processing. I implemented role-based access control (RBAC) and secure authentication mechanisms to manage user roles and permissions across systems.

On Urbaneye, I worked on integrating OptaPlanner for intelligent scheduling and route optimization, enabling efficient resource allocation. I also implemented multithreading and concurrent processing to handle large datasets (100K+ records), significantly improving system throughput and execution time.

On AbeyO, I focused on backend workflows for event management and ticketing, ensuring reliable handling of user interactions, bookings, and role-based operations.

My work emphasized performance optimization and scalability, including advanced query tuning using JPA/Hibernate with MySQL/PostgreSQL, implementing Redis caching for frequently accessed data, and improving system responsiveness through indexed queries and asynchronous processing.

Additionally, I integrated third-party services such as Google Maps (location & routing), Cronofy (calendar synchronization), and AWS S3 (media storage), and documented APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI to ensure seamless collaboration with frontend teams and external integrations.

At Brain Technosys, I worked as a Software Developer Trainee where I started my journey in backend development using Java and Spring Boot. During this period, I gained hands-on experience in building basic REST APIs and CRUD-based modules as part of training projects.

I worked with MySQL/PostgreSQL and JPA/Hibernate for simple database operations, including writing queries and managing data through ORM. I also implemented basic validation and role-based access control (RBAC) features to understand how backend systems handle users and permissions.

My work mainly focused on understanding backend fundamentals, such as layered architecture, request handling, and exception management. I also used Git for version control and collaborated with team members while learning real-world development workflows.

This experience helped me build a strong foundation in backend development and prepared me to work on more complex, production-level systems in my subsequent roles.
