About Arthur

✅ Graduated from Epitech with a solid foundation in functional programming.

I don't consider myself "passionate about code." What truly drives me is helping people solve their problems and simplify their lives. Code is simply the best tool I've found to achieve this.

Born and raised in Paris (a nice city to visit, but overwhelming to live in), I found refuge in programming during middle school.
I self-taught Lua and Python, then joined English-speaking video game modding communities.

In 2019, I enrolled at Epitech, a school without professors or exams where learning is done through practice: with projects and internships.

Upon returning from an exchange in Bangkok, I created DevMorning, a meetup for developers who want to work on their personal projects and discuss the latest news in Paris. Today, the group has 250 members.

2023 marked my consecration at the school: I joined the team managing all activities and the approximately 600 students on the Paris campus and was responsible for the Haskell module.

Finally, I completed my studies by discovering Scala and its ecosystem (circe, json4s, play, bazel, ... etc). But also by gaining insight into data challenges, which today more than anything makes me want to continue on this path.

📌 Feel free to connect if you think I can be useful to you in your projects, or simply if you want to chat.

Education

  • Information Technology Expert
    EPITECH
