Implementation of a bundle configuration – for OpenAI credentials – using Symfony best practices (Configurator, Loader, etc.).

On mission via Yomeva

Context:
After trying to find a junior iOS SwiftUI developer position, I finally returned to the PHP market. My consulting firm Yomeva found me this mission, which involved the backend API/admin for a property condition report application, within the IT department. I was alone on the project but not entirely: a mobile developer was handling the app, and a lead supported us on both.

Achievements:
Fixed a long-standing bug in the legacy data XML parser by splitting the algorithm into 2 parts, which eliminated recurring manual corrections.

Developed a JSON import/export feature for data. The difficulty lay in the fact that these were dynamic forms (so fields were described in the database instead of being composed of traditional SQL columns). This feature allowed for the transfer of form configurations between environments (staging ↔ production), handling all cases: creation, update, soft delete. The result was the elimination of human errors related to form configuration and a huge time saving.

Developed missing admin pages, based in Twig but with some dynamic features in React (via Stimulus).

Routine debugging using Datadog to track production errors, and building the mobile app locally and digging into React Native when needed.
