• Professional and disciplinary management of approx. 50 employees

• Conceptual and operational overall responsibility for the entire IT of the company (organization, strategy, governance, risk management, security, processes, service management, products and applications, infrastructure, service provider management, change management, communication, controlling, performance management etc.) with borne budget responsibility of approx. EUR 25 million

• Responsibility for the strategic planning, continuous development and implementation of our digital transformation in cooperation with and support of the specialist departments (including requirements analysis, process optimizations, make/buy decisions, portfolio management, quality assurance)

• Active support of the specialist departments in the selection and introduction of IT-related work equipment and processes

• Ensuring efficient, trouble-free IT operation and high-performance support, including management of outsourcing and implementation partners

• Management of stakeholder relationships through communication appropriate to the target group on IT topics:

o internal (management, heads of other BwBM divisions, own managers and employees)

o external (service providers, suppliers, IT managers of other in-house companies of the BMVg, BMVg)

• Responsibility for the planning and tendering of procurements, maintenance and investments
