Led architecture and development of a real-time Person-to-Person (SPI) payment solution for Redeban, Colombia's leading financial processor handling 1 B+ transactions annually. Key contributions:

- Architected and implemented core integration hub processing real-time payments via REST APIs, achieving sub-10 second transaction processing while maintaining zero data inconsistencies

- Designed and developed asynchronous transaction orchestration system handling debit/credit operations between banking entities, with comprehensive error handling and contingency protocols

- Implemented end-to-end transaction monitoring using Dynatrace and Splunk, enabling complete transaction traceability for operations team

- I worked on a Go application that needed to integrate with a PostgreSQL database, a Node.js microservice, and a third-party REST API for real-time data processing. One challenge was handling data format differences between Go’s strict typing and JSON-based responses from external services. To solve this, I used Go’s json package with custom unmarshaling to handle missing or unexpected fields gracefully. Another challenge was efficient communication with the Node.js service, which I solved by using gRPC instead of REST for faster, typed communication. For database integration, I used GORM to simplify queries and connection pooling to improve performance. By implementing proper retries, timeouts, and circuit breakers, I ensured smooth interoperability and fault tolerance across different technologies.

Led a cross-functional team in delivering enterprise integration solutions using Digibee's iPaaS platform, managing 6+ concurrent projects across LATAM and delivering production-ready solutions within 30 days by employing agile methodologies, rapid integration development, and rigorous testing practices. Key achievements:

- Architected and delivered Toyota's USA-Mexico payroll integration system, ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless data consolidation across international operations

- Spearheaded development of Redeban's Open Banking QR payment solution, scaling to 40M+ annual transactions, using event-driven architecture with 20+ microservices

- Overcame challenges such as legacy system connectivity, high traffic scaling, and robust error handling using VPNs, mTLS, dead-letter queues, and no response service checkers. Technical Leadership:

- Managed end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering to production deployment

- Led daily stakeholder meetings and technical planning sessions
