Project

During my tenure at Groupe Open, I participated in a project to develop a Full Stack application to meet our clients' specific needs. This application, named Gradys, was designed to provide a comprehensive platform for French municipalities to improve urban management.

One significant aspect I worked on was implementing an energy consumption prediction module, using meteorological data such as temperature and humidity. The goal was to optimize energy resource utilization to contribute to more sustainable and efficient urban infrastructure management.

Roles and Activities

Design and development of server-side functionalities using Java 17 and Spring Boot, alongside client-side development using Angular 15.

Implementation of OAuth 2.0 Security with Keycloak

Implementation of unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability.

Detailed technical documentation of developed services to facilitate application maintenance and scalability.

As part of a fixed-price project, I worked within a team of 9 people, including key roles such as 4 developers, a tech lead, a Product Owner, a project manager, an art director, and a DevOps engineer.

The client's main challenge was to improve human resource management by automating processes related to employee and volunteer skills, abilities, appointments, and training. The objective was to optimize productivity, planning, and professional development within the organization.

The expected outcomes were functional and high-performance applications that met the client's specific needs. These applications were to offer a user-friendly interface, ensure the security of sensitive data, and provide advanced management features to facilitate decision-making and data analysis.

As the first developer to join the team, I played a key role in establishing the applications' architecture and the continuous deployment pipeline. My contribution was essential in ensuring a solid foundation and automated processes, enabling efficient development and regular delivery of high-quality features.
