I developed an interactive web application using Angular, focused on advanced mapping capabilities. Using the OpenLayers library, the application offers functionalities such as creating and manipulating markers, drawing lines, and delineating geographic shapes. Additionally, an IGN file has been integrated to enhance cartographic accuracy, and OpenStreetMap (OSM) is used as the primary map base. Recognizing the diversity of users, I implemented translations using i18n, enabling a multilingual experience. Furthermore, I introduced efficient state management through NgRx, albeit on a limited scale for now. Finally, to ensure easy and fast access, I deployed the application on Firebase Hosting, ensuring agile and reliable delivery for end-users.

I designed an innovative concept for a platform focused on maps and routes, allowing users to explore and customize journeys between various points.

My Contributions:

Using Angular as the main framework, I developed an intuitive interface where users can visualize different paths.

Upon selecting a specific route, users gain access to highlighted points of interest. These points are enriched with images and videos contributed by the community.

For the implementation of maps and routes, I integrated and customized Google Maps, ensuring accuracy and an optimal user experience.

The entire project was hosted on Firebase, leveraging its scalability and reliability for hosting.

This concept transforms the way routes are planned and shared, adding a social and multimedia touch that enriches the travel experience.

The "Mallorca Taxis" application represents an evolution of traditional taxi services, providing a user experience similar to established platforms like Uber or Cabify.

My Contributions:

I developed three applications: a backoffice, an app for taxi drivers, and another for customers. All of this using Angular as the main framework, ensuring a fluid and cohesive user experience.

Thanks to Google services, such as geolocation, geocoding, geocoder, and other APIs, I managed to implement essential functions:

Customer App: real-time visualization of the taxi driver's location.

Driver App: optimized routes to the customer.

Backoffice: real-time tracking of all taxi drivers, definition of city zones, and advanced service management.

The core of the system, a backend in NestJS, uses microservices to ensure scalability and efficiency.

This project transformed the taxi experience in Mallorca, making the most of modern tools to provide exceptional service.
