About Antonio

Over 10 years developing administrative systems in Visual Basic 6, I had a lot of fun. Then it was time to migrate to .NET technologies, which along the way offered more complete solutions, presenting new challenges to face, such as object-oriented programming, among others. I like and really enjoy designing and developing administrative modules. My strength is Desktop Applications for administrative and billing systems, which are the fastest.

Personal Project

Sys Access System for the control and management of parking lots, a project I carried out from requirements analysis, proposal design, and programming in Visual Basic 6 with a Microsoft Access database and Crystal Reports 8.5 in its 1st version. For the 2nd version, I changed the database to SQL Server 2008. The system was responsible for reading a barcode ticket and automatically displaying the total to be billed on the screen, where the user validated the payment and carried out the billing process, printing a fiscal ticket and allowing exit. Here I created 2 modules: billing, which was installed in each booth, and administration, which was installed on the supervisor's machine.

• I managed to make the system work in more than 50 parking lots with total stability.
• I managed to get most clients to reduce their employee payroll by automating the entry and exit process, going from 3 employees per shift to only 1 employee, resulting in economic benefits for the clients.

Migration to .Net

After 10 years, I decided to update to .NET technology. I used the same system with Visual C#, SQL Server 2014, Crystal Reports. Here I worked with layered design patterns and stored procedures, making the system almost 50% faster, especially with clients who had more than 1 million records.
