After 2 years as a developer and then tech lead, I took on the role of junior architect supervised by senior architects. A particularly exciting mission where my role was more cross-functional and technical. Maintaining overall consistency across different teams and acting as a technical liaison are exciting. Participating in pre-development meetings to anticipate future needs with the business to discuss their wishes and feasibility.

As part of this mission for ENEDIS, the French electricity grid company including meters and other types of personal and professional infrastructure. I worked in the professional-oriented part of ENEDIS on the development of applications aimed at modernizing the system as a whole. These applications have different application domains but are closely linked, all passing through an interface allowing users to have a tool to work with and administrators to facilitate case management. My mission was to participate in the development of these applications in a team of about 25 people, all divided into small teams to facilitate management and agile meetings. During these 2.5 years, I had the opportunity to use Java from version 11 to 17, to technically manage a team of 4 developers, all supervised by architects. On this project, teamwork and mutual support were very important to move forward together and reach important milestones (definitive replacement and decommissioning of an application).

Java/Spring developer on a mission at Sopra Steria in Limonest. Involved in a project for SNCF. This mission allowed me to practice Java as well as various frameworks on several different projects, concerning applications without a graphical interface but responsible for SNCF staff or equipment schedules and planning. During the last year and a half of this mission, I learned to technically manage a team of 3 developers to try to make the best choices in relation to the context or the project vision communicated to us by the business.
