I have just completed a mission with Sonos France where I carried out acoustic measurements (impulse responses) to validate the voice recognition algorithms of speakers.

I spent a good part of my career in the noise and vibration team at Dyson in the United Kingdom. Some of my tasks:

- development of a Simulink system model for a new air purifier concept (prediction of aerodynamic performance, noise, power consumption etc.)

- development of a Simulink component library to integrate acoustic performance into existing models (fan, hair dryer)

- specification of acoustic performance, definition of test methods

- development of Matlab applications for the acquisition and processing of measurements

- Responsible for compliance with acoustic specifications

- statistical analysis of test data (hypothesis testing, experimental designs, gauge R&R)
