Universus Technologies is a company specializing in high-quality transcription and medical report writing for healthcare professionals, optimized by AI.

As an associate, I took on a dual role of strategic partner and technical leader. My mission was to define and execute a new technological vision to unlock the company's growth, which was critically hampered by manual processes and unstable infrastructure.

✅ Orchestration of complete automation of the production workflow. I designed and developed a new event-driven system (Node.js, Trigger.dev, Supabase) that transformed the company's core. We moved from a limiting manual process (distribution, tracking, billing) to 100% automated production, enabling us to handle much larger volumes while reducing operational costs.

🤖 Implementation of an advanced AI pipeline for processing medical reports. I integrated and orchestrated several AI services (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) to automate the transcription, correction, and translation of reports, as well as other production workflow processes. I also implemented solutions for advanced audio processing (silence removal, format conversion), radically increasing the quality and speed of deliverable production.

🚀 Development of the complete application ecosystem (Full Stack). I led the development of all user interfaces: a secure client web portal, an interface for transcribers, and a comprehensive administrator dashboard. I ensured a consistent and intuitive user experience across the entire platform, from creating a case to delivering the final report, and then to client and transcriber billing.

As a senior developer and technical lead within the product team, I was responsible for developing key features for this SaaS/PaaS platform, optimizing performance, and providing technical mentorship to the team.

✅ Design of a scalable data architecture (Custom Fields). Starting from a specific client need, I proposed and developed a generic system to extend the properties of any entity in the solution. This initiative accelerated the deployment of new features and offered greater customization flexibility to clients, without developer intervention.

🚀 Performance optimization and technical mentorship. Faced with growing performance issues (N+1 problem), I implemented a GraphQL batching solution that drastically reduced the number of database queries. I then trained the entire team on its use to ensure the adoption of best practices and the sustainable performance of the application.

🛠️ Development of complex business modules at the core of the platform. I led the end-to-end development of several essential functional components for the client experience, such as a customizable payment system (invoices, quotes), integration of SSO with Zendesk, and advanced data management tools like an import/export system.

As the lead developer working directly with the CEO and CTO, I had complete autonomy to drive the evolution of the Bob! Desk CMMS, a SaaS solution used notably by the Marie Blachère group. In addition to ongoing maintenance and continuous roadmap development, I led several foundational projects that transformed the product:

✅ Modernization and reliability of the codebase. I took charge of the complete refactoring of the back-office, transforming a legacy codebase (slow, unstable, and difficult to maintain) into a solid technical foundation. This initiative drastically reduced bugs, improved performance, and increased the team's velocity for future development.

⚙️ Automation of critical business processes. I designed and developed a complete invoicing module for all platform stakeholders (clients, contractors), automating a key process and reducing the workload of the client's administrative team. I also implemented an automatic intervention ticket assignment system and synchronization with external calendars (Google/Microsoft) to streamline operations.

📈 Development of strategic features. To meet the needs of a major client, I implemented high-value-added features: a customizable fields system to adapt the solution to specific client needs, a statistical dashboard for activity management, and a migration tool to accelerate the onboarding of new clients.
