Anthony Dicanot

Independent since early 2017, I offer my services as a .Net & SQL Leader/Technical Expert, MOE consultant, Senior Design Engineer, and Technical Project Manager. Curious and passionate, I enjoy the technical, functional, and human aspects related to this profession.

Within this mission in the logistics sector, I act as a .Net Technical Lead in a full Azure environment. My mission is divided into several parts:

- Adapt and enhance an old application solution composed of

- Containerized .Net Microservices (Docker, K8s) relying notably on .Net Core 3 (migrated to .Net 5), PostGreSQL, SQL Server 2019, Azure DevOps, CQRS, MediatR, ...

- Android application in Xamarin Forms

- Angular application (Sandbox)

- Evolve the application architecture

- Technically supervise a development team partially "local" (partial remote work) and partially remote (developers in Full Remote in Paris, Tunisia)

- Ensure technical monitoring and quality

- Set up / supervise an R&D department for targeted evolutions (management of AMR fleets in the logistics workflow of a warehouse)

- Develop part of the expected evolutions

- Ensure technical cohesion with the Tech Leads of other application solutions in the department

- Evolve CI/CD in Azure DevOps

- Regular exchanges, particularly with the PPO, UX Designer, PO, transverse architect. In addition, I handled some unforeseen tasks during the first 5 months of my mission:

- Guarantee of Agile implementation via Azure

- Reverse engineering on the existing application and "Retro-writing" of specifications As this brief description suggests, this mission allowed me to strengthen my skills in many areas. More specifically, I was able to develop my knowledge and experience in:

- managing a geographically dispersed team, through partial or total remote work, Covid and its repercussions.

- the Azure universe at all levels, particularly infrastructure, Git, k8s, Docker, project management, agile, testing, CI/CD

- .Net Core 5 and microservices

This project involves rewriting, evolving, optimizing, and maintaining a highly complex business application. This requires significant architecture, performance, and design considerations. All through a thick client, thus written in C#, via a WPF layer. As the technical lead on this project, my mission can be broken down into several points:

- Technical expertise (architecture, algorithms, design, ...) and technological watch

- Quality: code review, validation - Implementation of development/testing workflows

- Agile: Implementation of the SCRUM method

- Technical management of a team of 5 developers

- CI maintenance

- Writing / updating technical documentation
