My name is Anouk, I am a freelance Paper artist & creator of Kauri Paper Studio.

Kauri Paper Studio is my creative laboratory, where I experiment with a thousand and one ways to work with paper; cutting, gluing, folding, interlacing, layering, tearing, bending, binding, printing… A simple sheet becomes a beetle, a camera or a flower!

Creation of three set designs for Djeco's Instagram communication for Christmas 2023.

We chose three settings in which to photograph the different Djeco products: a village, a mountain forest, and a starry night.

First, I created the various elements that make up the three scenes. The sets are entirely made of paper.

Then I photographed the 52 products in the settings. I did post-production, and the Djeco team handled the editing and animation of the Instagram reels.

Creation of a photobooth backdrop, wall decorations, and table centerpieces for a private event.

I enjoyed adapting my creations to the beautiful walls of the Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse in Vieux-Lille. We agreed on a sober and elegant theme, with greenery in black & gold colors, to let the charm of the room shine through.

For the table centerpieces, I chose to create 10 different paper plants, presented in glass domes.

During the evening, I hosted a photobooth, a 2 x 2 m backdrop made of paper! What a joy to see people having fun, choosing props, posing in front of the decor, and leaving with their printed photos.
