Ann-Sophie Maeyaert

I am Ann-Sophie, and I help growing SMEs and buy-and-build organizations when the strategy is in place, but the execution is not yet following.

I see this repeatedly at the same kind of moments: just after an acquisition or family transfer, when a company suddenly grows too fast, or when teams are no longer moving in the same rhythm. Often, too much remains with the managing director, who senses everything coming but lacks the time or structure to turn it into action.

My path to this was not a straight line, and that is precisely my strength. I started in sales and marketing, gained ten years of experience as an independent consultant, often as the right-hand person to the SME managing director, for companies in very different sectors, and then delved into employee experience and engagement with I AM HUMAN. Everywhere I encountered the same pattern: companies with a good strategy, driven people, and yet an execution that got stuck. Not due to a lack of will, but due to a lack of structure, ownership, and measurability.

Today, I combine that experience in Dot2. I work at the intersection of direction, ownership, leadership, and measurable progress, not with isolated workshops or advice, but with a sharp focus on what needs to change structurally. I help managing directors and management teams translate strategy into clear priorities, assign ownership more effectively, improve team collaboration, and make visible where execution is currently stuck.

What drives me is never losing sight of the person behind the business. For me, performance and well-being are not opposites; they reinforce each other when approached correctly.
