"culinary timepieces …a tribute to classic cuisine" is a photographic art project by Annette Sandner. The documented time witnesses made of paper document the beauty of culinary art across decades – and centuries. The creations, combinations, and garnishes that were en vogue, their natural focus on quality and seasonality: all of this is printed or written on them. Combined with fresh ingredients and traditional, yet contemporarily interpreted dishes, the old menus and specialty books live on here as photographic art, basking in the picturesque colors of the food and remembering their craftsmanship tradition.
