Annamaria Di Gioia

I have been working as a full-time freelance translator since 2015 for various agencies, mostly in the field of marketing (training documents, product catalogs, company presentations, surveys). I enjoy my job and find marketing translations and transcreations very exciting and appealing. I love my language and find the task of expressing advertisements and slogans written in another language in Italian a very delightful task.

I also work in the technical field (user manuals, instructions, etc.), with texts from the tourism and gastronomy sector, and with writing subtitles.

As a freelancer, I am used to organizing my time well and independently; in the last 2 years, I have also coordinated a small group of translators as a project manager and find teamwork and problem-solving very important values, even when working as a freelancer.

I work with InDesign and Trados Studio 2019, have experience with MemoQ and other similar translation software, I use Microsoft Word for texts, Excel and PowerPoint.

I am open to interesting collaboration opportunities and am always happy to learn something new.
