I looked at the USB stick. 15 Excel files. 10,000 products. Mixed currencies. Messy encoding.

My first thought: "I should quit." My second: "Or, I’ll build a bridge."

333 hours were needed for manual import. I didn’t have them. I spent a few hours building a Python script using XML-RPC for the Odoo API instead.

47 minutes later: 10,189 products imported. I went for coffee.
