Angel Ortega Prada

My professional life has been developed for almost 30 years in the Carrefour group in Spain. I started in 1990 in a hypermarket in the accounting department. For 8 years I worked in different centers in Madrid, including two openings. Professionally, I was responsible for the accounting departments of the hypermarkets to which I was assigned. In 1998, the Internal Audit department was created and I was transferred to the group's headquarters as the first auditor, reporting to the audit director. In 2000, I was appointed director of internal audit. In 2008, I took over the management of non-merchandise purchasing, and in 2011, I was entrusted with the creation of the Internal Control department. During the years 2016 to 2019, I actively collaborated with the Legal department in the implementation of the company's Compliance function.
