PUBLISHED WORKS
I translated the following article from French to English, which was published in a peer-reviewed journal. It is a review article on the use of antifibrinolytics in orthopedic surgery. Its authors were kind enough to mention me in the acknowledgments section.Zufferey P, Merquiol F, Laporte S et al. (2006) Do antifibrinolytics reduce allogeneic blood transfusion in orthopedic surgery? Anesthesiology 105(5):1034–46.You can access the full article via this link:https://doi.org/10.1097/00000542-200611000-00026 - EMKATechnical WriterJanuary 2007 - December 2011 (4 years and 11 months)Paris, FranceTHEIR ACTIVITY:EMKA develops and distributes electronic devices and scientific software for biomedical research.THEIR MAIN CLIENTS:Researchers conducting toxicology and safety pharmacology studies.MY FUNCTIONS:I was responsible for the design and writing of all company documentation, including user manuals, application notes, product sheets, and scientific articles. A large part of this work involved interviewing members of other departments internally to gather the necessary information. I then mentally translated this information from French to English – often with an initial "translation" to switch from technical jargon to everyday language!
