With over 30 years of experience — spanning operational management at Mars Electronics, senior consulting at Gemini Consulting and Capgemini, and 21 years as a Partner at Verve Associates — Andrew has worked across retail, telecoms, manufacturing, FMCG and utilities, consistently helping organisations translate strategy into executable programmes with clear, trackable outcomes.

In retail, Andrew led a multi-year transformation programme for a major specialist retailer: redesigning in-store processes, building store-level performance systems, and coaching the executive team to embed a customer-centred culture — delivering 4% above-market growth. He combines rigorous financial and statistical modelling to identify what genuinely drives performance at store with programme discipline to make change stick.

For a major utility, he built a benefits cascade linking project delivery directly to the board strategy scorecard, enabling effective leadership of a programme with a benefits case exceeding £1bn.

He is equally comfortable shaping programmes from ambiguity — defining problems, building investment cases, and sequencing initiatives across a matrix organisation — as he is driving pace through delivery, managing risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams, and providing clear, confident updates to Executive and Board-level stakeholders. He works across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments, adapting his approach to fit the context.
