Andrea Studinger

I was born in Paris, to Italian and Swiss-German parents. After a second master's degree in Directing at Columbia University in New York, I returned to my hometown to build a bridge between the two continents.

As a young screenwriter, I have two feature film scripts in English and one in French to my credit, which I wrote during my master's degree in screenwriting at ESRA. I have also written about fifteen short films, three pilots, and a series bible, and for a year now I have been a jury member of the prestigious Austin Film Festival; a real pleasure.

I have directed and produced two short films; the second is in post-production and the first is currently competing in several international festivals including the Buffalo International Film Festival.

I have also worked on numerous music videos and collaborated on a few advertising/sponsored projects. It is in these mediums, these three worlds of fiction, music videos, and advertising, that I aspire to establish my voice.

My almost nine years of experience in music composition accompany me everywhere.
