Andrea Barbiero

I am a passionate leader in the field of open and digital health innovation, with a career path that combines education, innovation, and collaboration. 💡

From the beginning of my career, my focus has been clear: to support health ecosystem stakeholders in addressing the challenges of digital transformation and innovation across all spectrums, from strategic to digital. I have had the opportunity to collaborate on projects with international organizations, governments, healthcare providers, insurers, startups, and investors in both Europe and Latin America. Each challenge has represented a new opportunity to learn and grow.

In 2012, I founded Co-Salud, a boutique consulting platform that promotes open innovation in health and emphasizes the importance of both strategic and digital innovation to achieve a more collaborative and participatory health system, where the voices of all stakeholders are heard. Through Co-Salud, I am committed to bridging different sectors to achieve a positive impact on community health.

I am also an Alumni Connector for OuiShare, a global community exploring the dynamics of the digital and platform economy, and in 2016, I co-founded Salus.Coop, a citizen cooperative for managing health data to support science and research.

Currently, I also proudly serve as a promoter and leader of an Ibero-American digital health community, as well as president of TISAC, a civil association dedicated to fostering collaboration among various health innovation stakeholders, including strategic and digital aspects, in Ibero-America. Since 2022, I have had the honor of being an ambassador for the Barcelona Health Hub.
