AI software engineering specialist. I design and ship production AI systems for regulated European organisations, owning the architecture and implementing the code that proves it out. My current work centres on LLM-based software engineering that is governed, auditable, resilient, scalable and safe to run, built on a versioned delivery framework that keeps a qualified human in command of every decision of consequence.
Behind that is a long engineering career, from an electro-mechanical engineering apprenticeship in robotics and avionics through Chief Architect and CTO roles across banking, insurance, travel, energy and pharmaceuticals. I stay close to the code. The architecture and the implementation are the same job done at two altitudes.
