My name is Amir. I am from Iran and have been living in Germany for 10 years.
I was already involved with sound in Iran and decided to come to Germany to further my education.
I took the exam at the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg and was accepted there as a sound engineer.
During this time, I participated in various projects such as films, radio plays, orchestral recordings, band recordings, live streaming, etc., and found my strengths.
I became self-employed and founded my own sound studio in Potsdam in 2019. Since then, I have been doing sound design for films and radio plays, as well as live recording sessions for bands.
My studio is in a large house, about 20 square meters, right by the lake in the middle of Potsdam. It consists of different rooms for recordings like bands or vocals and acoustic instruments, mixing, sound design, etc.
Furthermore, I am also often on the road as a sound engineer at festivals and concerts.
