I have been a freelance editorial proofreader since 2020.

Certified by ÉMI and the Voltaire device (expert level), I work remotely with publishing houses and independent authors.

In addition to proofreading, I offer manuscript alpha and beta reading services, as well as book layout.

Manuscript proofreading includes classic proofreading (spelling, grammar, conjugation, syntax, and typography) as well as in-depth analysis aimed at eliminating errors in meaning, awkward phrasing, and repetitions, for which I can suggest reformulations adapted to the author's style and intent.

I also verify the references and information provided (dates, names of places, well-known people and works, etc.).

In alpha and beta reading, I offer tailor-made support based on the author's needs (particularly in terms of the frequency of exchanges and the type of work done on the manuscript).

At the end of the beta reading, I provide the author with a detailed and complete report with my observations, advice, and suggestions to help them finalize the writing of their manuscript.

Regarding layout, I create a layout in InDesign according to the author's wishes and needs, then flow the text into it and make the necessary modifications before sending them the file in PDF format.

Options are available, such as adding illustrations, ornaments, separators, etc.

I can also create the ePub file of the book for digital publication.
