• Designed a benchmark-based digital airfryer for a local brand, prepared the BOM, and supported commissioning. Following the digital launch, developed a manually controlled version with separate design requirements.

• Implemented a facelift of the airfryer and developed market-specific derivatives.

• Provided mechanical design and troubleshooting support for various small appliances for local brands, including:

◦ Stand Mixer (Karaca Mastermaid)

◦ Coffee Machines (DUO, Barista, Combo Turkish+Filter, Metal Cover Version, Plastic Cover Facelift, Milky, Diamond, Filter Coffee Series)

◦ Hand Blender (Standard and Metal Cover Versions)

• Contributed from concept to mass production in a new steam-function airfryer for Philips (Air Steam Cooker – Malaysia release). Initially Mechanical Design Engineer; later added Industrialization Engineer responsibilities. Mid-project, also undertook project coordination tasks. In final stages, supported NPI activities at factory level and handed over to the newly formed internal R&D and Project team. Actively participated in cross-team communication during the ownership transition from Philips to Versuni.

• Ongoing projects prior to transition:

◦ Developed a wide single-drawer derivative of the DUO Airfryer; design finalized, prototypes validated, tooling initiated.(Reached pilot production; provided on-site consultancy at the factory in February 2026 for unresolved issues).

◦ Presented required design modifications to management to ensure UL compliance for US market adaptation of an existing coffee machine.

• ● Promoted to Senior Mechanical Designer and Project Officer within the R&D / Design and Projects Department.

• ● Primarily worked on the Philips Airfryer XXL, one of the first and most well-known models in the global airfryer market. This link(shows the US(digital-controlled) version: HD9650/90. There were also EU, UK, MEA and manuel-controlled models — each requiring adaptation to different regional standards and mechanical interfaces.

◦ o Reviewed 2D and 3D data provided by Philips and created detailed bills of materials (BOMs).

◦ o Provided technical support in mechanical design, GD&T, and GR&R throughout the development phase.

◦ o Designed and supported the manufacturing of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for mass production during the industrialization stage.

◦ o Resolved a critical post-release quality issue shortly after production began, which had triggered product returns and market withdrawal risks in key regions. Successfully implemented the solution, contributing to recovery of sales volume and further expansion into new markets.

◦ o Coordinated training and development activities in collaboration with the Philips team.

◦ o Implemented safety improvements and took corrective/preventive actions, including poka-yoke applications, to eliminate critical risks and project showstoppers during launch.

◦ o Collaborated on PLM activities and contributed to the introduction of alternative, more sustainable materials —

helping reduce costs and environmental impact.

• ● Began career as a Draftsperson and Designer in the Engineering Department.

• ● Created technical drawings across all product categories within the company.

• ● Collaborated with the Vacuum Cleaner Department to revise 3D part and assembly designs, resolve functional issues, enhance product performance (e.g., improving dust filtration efficiency), and support prototyping and product release.
