About Alison

Data Scientist for five years, I worked on an e-health project during which I was able to do Data Mining and Machine Learning with the R language. I also did Deep Learning for predictive classification with Python and the TensorFlow framework.     The Big Bridge – SE project is an e-health project aimed at preventing people at risk based on their pathology in case of high pollution levels in Nice.

    During the first part of my internship, I took charge of the project's Oracle environment with Hadoop and Hive. I then showed the correlation between air quality and its impact on health by developing various algorithms with the R language (clustering with K-means, Maps, Random Forest).

    During the second part of my internship, I automated decision-making: determining whether a person is at risk or not based on their pathology (profile) and pollution level. Here, I used the Tensorflow framework and the Keras overlay with Python. I trained a multilayer neural network to predict whether a person was at risk or not.

    During my last academic year, I continued to work on this project for 8 months. We created a mobile application where the user could enter various information about themselves. We also developed a web service that fetched air quality data. I then performed a real-time cross-study to predict whether the person was at risk based on their pathology and current air quality. I developed this algorithm with the R language after comparing different algorithms (Random Forest, SVM, k-neighbors...). In case of risk, the user is notified on their mobile.
