In this current role, you act as a specialist engineer focused on infrastructure protection. Although your global competencies are detailed in the general summary of your profile, your focus at this stage is strongly oriented towards SOC (Security Operations Center) environments, Cloud security (especially in Azure and Microsoft Sentinel environments), and proactive threat hunting. You are responsible for building resilient defenses, thoroughly investigating incidents using KQL, analyzing telemetry to neutralize attackers before they act, and automating workflows with Python.

In this position, you had a very technical and hybrid role between cloud security, voice infrastructure, and development. Your main responsibilities included:

Voice Infrastructure Security: You were responsible for the implementation and hardening (security hardening) of Cisco Call Manager using TLS 1.3 encryption and certificate-based authentication.

Automation and Fraud Detection: You developed Python scripts specifically designed to monitor suspicious call patterns, mitigating risks such as international fraud and brute-force attacks.

SIEM Integration and Analytics: You connected voice platforms with the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, allowing you to correlate events and design alerts using KQL queries to detect malicious SIP traffic.

Cloud Security and APIs: You designed secure API connections to communicate voice systems with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Artificial Intelligence Protection: You implemented specific security controls for conversational bots, ensuring their correct authentication and applying rate-limiting policies.

Collaboration: You worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all these implementations strictly complied with the company's required security standards.
