I joined the Checkout team as a fullstack developer. The project runs with SAFe methodology and as a technology expert, I help achieve sprint goals by designing and writing high-quality code in TypeScript on both sides: Angular and Nest.js.

Phase: Bootstrap - Developing a Proof of Concept for Full-Scale Commercial Demonstration

Product Management:

Crafting the vision, defining the scope, establishing foundational elements, and charting the product roadmap.

Technology Implementation:

- CI/CD Pipelines: Configuring Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using GitHub Actions, with separate workflows for backend and frontend.

- Cloud Platform: Leveraging Microsoft Azure for platform deployment, including PostgreSQL, Azure Web Apps, and Virtual Networks for enhanced VPN capabilities.

- Software Architecture: Designing the software architecture based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture principles.

- Frontend Development: Utilizing Vue.js, Pinia, FormKit, and Jest for robust and efficient frontend development.

- Backend Development: Implementing backend solutions using TypeORM, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and Jest, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Version Control: Managing and storing code in a GitHub repository.

My role involves autonomously developing connectors from Lucca to other SAAS platforms. I handle the entire process, from defining the functional scope to implementing and delivering the connectors in C#.

In the past six months, I successfully implemented and sold one connector, resulting in increased Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for the company.

One of my notable achievements includes developing an Azure Active Directory Connector. This connector allows seamless synchronization of users and provides real-time monitoring of their status. Additionally, I have implemented functional enhancements to Lucca's HR module based on client requirements related to the connector.

In this role, I have not only strengthened my technical expertise but also improved my soft skills by understanding client needs and translating them into effective solutions.

Collaboration has been crucial to my success. I have worked closely with the internal IT manager to define connector specifications, as well as with clients to help them define their needs, as well as with the lead developer and product manager of our HR Directory product to implement relevant features in C# and Angular.

As the first employee in this department (excluding my manager), I take pride in building something significant from scratch. The technical foundations I established will accelerate the development of future connectors, contributing to Lucca's growth.
