Alexandre D'Avvocato

My name is Alexandre D’Avvocato, I am 41 years old and I live in Nice.

As a teenager, I was part of a music group with friends.

My computer skills naturally led me to take on the role of "the guy who presses REC and reads the technical manuals".

Besides that, I had a particular fondness for electronic music. The sophisticated way the sound was worked and its power to generate a lot of emotions fascinated me.

After sleepless nights spent on audio forums and a few bouts of jaundice :-), I finally invested in my first sound card and set up a room in my parents' basement.

Numerous recordings, various training courses (including SAE Brussels), a multitude of books, magazines, tutorials, and music theory courses later, I decided in 2006 to become a full-time sound engineer.
