■ My personal vision of the developer profession in 2024:
I believe that the developer profession is gradually transforming into an architect profession, where we must perform assembly and integration work.
This therefore requires mastering the best frameworks, which are there to structure our applications, and align them with tomorrow's standards.
This is why I think it is imperative to know Spring Boot inside out (profiles, creation of partial contexts, advanced annotations) and to master next-generation testing tools (I'm thinking of Testcontainers).
■ Continuously training, I am currently improving my skills in:
- Testcontainers (creating integration tests using docker containers rather than embedded databases)
- Spring Reactor API (understanding the ins and outs of reactive programming)
■ Ask to see my code practices, I will share and comment with you on a project initiated in 2021. It is a crypto-asset trading bot (futures contract derivatives).
