About Alexandre

Hello,

Passionate about electronics and programming, I have been an embedded systems engineer for over 7 years. I place customer relations at the heart of the project and adapt to your needs.

I can support you or carry out for you:

  • electronic prototypes quickly,
  • the procurement of your BOM as well as its optimization,
  • the embedded software for your products,
  • electronic boards taking into account industrialization constraints,
  • maintenance of your products as well as deployment of your software.
  • small and medium series production of your electronic boards.

I can also support you with technical reinforcement and integrate into your teams.

Having built my experience with several industrial product launches (Qivivo, Parade from the Eram group, ...), I can also support you through all the stages of creating a connected object.

Do not hesitate to contact me, I would be delighted to learn more about your projects!

    November 2018 - Today (7 years and 8 months)
    Nantes, France
Wirestone is a design office located in Nantes, created in November 2018, consisting of two people, Étienne Castanié and myself.
With over 15 years of combined experience in product development, we support companies throughout their connected object creation projects; from system architecture to industrialization and customer deployment.

After two years in existence, here is a presentation of some of our client projects in which we have been involved:

    - Parade Project
The Parade® brand of the ERAM Group develops, produces, and markets safety clothing for workers (https://www.parade-protection.com/fr).
As part of the regulatory obligation to wear a DATI (Isolated Worker Alarm Device http://www.inrs.fr/risques/travail-isole/dispositif-alarme-travailleur-isole-DATI.html), Parade® wanted to design and develop an equivalent DATI integrated into safety footwear (https://citedelobjetconnecte.com/parade-chaussure-de-securite-intelligente).
We supported them for over a year on various topics:
    • prototype development,
    • design of a very small industrial board, schematic, routing follow-up.
    • software development to optimize consumption, communicate wirelessly (ble or LoRaWan), perform GPS tests to locate the shoe.
    • industrialization with the design of a test bench for large-scale production.

    - Machine Learning Project applied to real-time vehicle detection and tracking, without dedicated hardware graphics acceleration.
Our client wanted to develop a gantry that automatically (autonomously) detects vehicles passing through it. As soon as a vehicle is detected, the gantry tracks the vehicle's position and takes pictures from several angles to reconstruct a 360-degree 3D view of the vehicle.

    - Beem Project
Beem is a Nantes-based startup that has developed a connected solar kit. This kit can be installed in minutes on any surface and allows for self-consumption of the produced energy. We supported them in the development of a prototype to send the electrical production information from their solar kits to their server.
