Over four years at DGEX Solutions, a division of SNCF Réseau, I had the opportunity to work on critical and exciting topics.

Our mission was to design, develop, and deploy innovative expert systems to optimize the maintenance of the French railway network. The projects were part of the digital transformation of railway maintenance, focusing on leveraging data and cutting-edge technologies to improve operational efficiency.

The systems created enabled field agents to effectively identify, prioritize, and track maintenance operations. These innovations made it possible to collect and analyze real-time data on the network's status, implement algorithms to prioritize maintenance actions, and optimize intervention planning.

Thanks to these technological advancements, it was possible to significantly reduce train downtime and minimize the impact on daily operations. The economic impact of the project was significant, allowing SNCF Réseau to achieve savings of several million euros by optimizing the use of the network's maintenance capacities.

This work contributed to the modernization of SNCF Réseau's maintenance practices, and not only led to cost reductions but also improved the reliability and safety of the French railway network, demonstrating the profound impact that technological innovation can have in the field of critical infrastructure.
